re: coldry is the best coal drying technology ... Coldry is a transitional tech - it never claimed to be forever...but 50 years will do. Go to China and you will see Coldry is a monster in the making pending DFT/Datang confirmations...ie Coldry is economic and can be transported.
China is building between 1-2 NEW USC stations every week.
They ALL are candidates for burning Coldry. On top of that - India etc are just starting. On top of that are the approx 1524 brown coal burners that MUST upgrade some how.
Waste heat is here to stay and grow massively....hence the need to utilize it...enter Coldry.
Bowral - ask yourself why LYP are dealing with Coldry and not Exergen. Fact is MNM/Exergen are friendless where it counts - LaTrobe Valley. MNM are scrapping around going from one major confrontation to another TRYING to mine BM.
As Carl/Pas pointed out - LYP are FIRMLY pro Coldry with Arup starting the DFT.
Tuesday onwards should encourage LYP to be more openly pro Coldry.
Anyway - ECT just need a couple of solid Coldry deals out of the thousands of prospects out there...the main game is Matmor.
