I suspect the govt will consider Coldry water in a supplementary sense in the near future but think a desal plant is inevitable,,,

Desalination plants require large quantities of power, which will lead to the vic govt announcing a new power station in the valley to cope with the overall increase in power needs for SA and Vic which will in turn further concrete future requirements for Coldry,,,,We can't just increase Victoria's carbon foot print by 20% without neutralising that number, with viable and commercial technologies such as Coldry.

Floundering ETS or otherwise... lignite burning is dirty prehistoric ( non ) technology that requires global environmental, technological intervention.
