coldry v exergen v wec v others

Given there was a lot of posts that it was an oversimplification to compare MNM and ESI (which is fair given their businesses are far more complex than just brown coal de-watering).
Lets now try and compare the competing brown coal technologies (which is the technology that seems to stir the most robust discussion amongst posters)

In another oversimplified way (and HC is somewhere in between Twitter and Wikipedia when it comes to credibility of detail), I am going state my opinion.

Coldry has the best final product outcome (transportable pellet and water capture) but the CAPEX is too high.
Exergen has the most interesting technology but the engineering feats required make the risk of feasibility so much higher plus the water cleanup is still a problem.
WEC is the furthest down the path of commercialisation but the process seeems to be stalling and the technology doesnt seem to have as much variance of feedstock as the other two (ie they target waste fines - possibly due to the flash dry method using too much energy to dry other types of coals).

Others?? There are a few. Some old which have fallen of the radar. Some new which are too early to get excited about.
