Metcash supplies the IGA franchises around Australia. Metcash also owns a few IGA mega stores. Metcash is a very large warehouse and importer of supermarket grocery types of products. Metcash is a big ASX listed company. Maybe, just maybe the ACCC might take a look at Metcash for overcharging their franchisees. Probably why IGA is the most expensive of the supermarkets.
