I hadn't even heard of Leah Weckert before the Four Corners interview and I appreciate that there are some very strident views here about her, but I must agree that her interview was absolutely terrible and she is lucky that Banducci's was even worse. She came across as highly practised, insensitive and frankly unintelligent. At least she has time to work with her PR people before the inquiry starts, otherwise I imagine her performance there will be a value destroying train wreck. No doubt these big CEO roles are hugely challenging, but it seems to me whenever one of them is put under the pump they almost always demonstrate that they're very lucky to be in senior management at all.
