mmm - snapped up 1.5kg of "boned rolled pork shoulder roast" for $4.50 from woolies. immediately diced up a kg of spuds (60c), put in bottom of slow cooker, put pork on top. the spuds will cook in all that yummy pork fat. put in some carrots (40c for 1/2 kg) and 750 gram of pumpkin at 50c ( 69c per kg ) - total cost about $6 - and easily feed a family of 4.
