As reported during the week, Coles plans a 6 month trial in Tasmanian stores selling car,home insurance underwritten by WES's own general insurance arm. The model is apparently quite successful in UK for both TESCO and Asda.
What do people think of this development? anyone have any knowledge or experience of the UK model which seems to be inspiring this move?
