What disturbs me is that superior groups of know it alls have formed within our society and they have claimed "the power of life and death" and they are unaccountable and unidentified.
If they were democratically elected, they would have to represent the community standards. But they are not and do not.
An individual making this sort of unilateral decision would be held accountable.
It is time to root them out and prevent them hiding and bring the decision processes out in the open.
Maybe Colin could have been saved. Maybe not. But a premature decision tend his life should have been deferred until all avenues for help were exhausted. There were competent groups waiting to have a go and were prevented from trying to help.
There are far too many secret societies controlling our lives.
