Collaboration is the way forward

I think CWE has come to the realisation that the commercialisation of wave energy is beyond the capability of a single company.  It is for this reason that it has entered into a number of collaborations that allow it to participate in the development that will not only benefit themselves, but others as well.

This link may not please all holders of CWE with it's frankness but it does give a hint as to why the company has adopted a more collaborative strategy.

WavePOD, WaveHub, MARINET, FloWave testing, WaterCorp, MAK Water, Fundacion Chile, numerous universities in Australia and Europe etc. are all part of their move into collaborative research and technological development.

I believe they are doing the right thing by moving in this direction, much better than if they were attempting to go it alone.
