Since those grants got announced I've believed the first grants are in relation to power take-offs specifically because they have Wavepod in mind. Aquamarine (Scottish and Wavepod collaborator) are putting their tech dev on hold to focus on power take-off. The Scottish are desperately trying to support them after their recent redundancies and the end of pelamis.

If the timeframe on that is right we'll see action this month.

Perhaps the results of Ceto 5 operations are being strung out to allow time for Ceto 6 and WavePOD to produce the type of results that ensures mainstream commercialisation.
