Yes, I agree. The govt shouldn't interfere. So they should stop interest only loans, FHB grants, preferential capital gains treatment and leaning on the RBA to reduce rates, no? Anyway, don't take my word for it that this move is disastrous. I'll let Dr. John Hewson make the point...
