Spot on Kev.. Jake, if America collapse's, then so will China because their economies are so entangled, they really are just one entity. Some economists have actually even given the combined economy a name - Chimerica

America made China via outsourcing everything to them - & re-importing all the junk back for the last 20 + years. They are now like conjoined twins sharing one heart - an ugly heart made of fans, cups, fridges, food, tv's, carpet etc etc.

So, if America can no longer consume... the 08 financial crisis will end up being a mere 'blip' on the radar comparatively.
