Well according to the latest dire predictions of Fortis ...a meltdown in the finance system is expected within the next few weeks.

Apparently quite a number of the 6000 US banks could go bankrupt.

So, i can't see personally ...even if this is just news hype at present ...that the balance in the markets is going to be restored any time soon.

In depression times ...cash and gold is king.

Food is also helpful too.

The banks in Oz no doubt will be forced to reduce their dividends ...because the Reserve Bank is not a guarantor for yours or my bank accounts above $20,000.

Companies likely to survive the coming recession are energy companies that deal in Natural Gas.

If banks go bankrupt in the USA ...we will also follow the trend ...as will European and Asian banks.

Global economy = worldwide meltdown.
