Guys, there seems to be a wealth of collective knowledge out there so I am coming back to you again.
I have found a Jag that, if kosher, is a genuine rarity. A 50 year old, LOW milage one owner car in original condition. The photos show that the leather seats are showing their age but everything else looks OK. The price seems at the upper end of the range but it is the biggest motor with wire wheels. Concourse cars, of course are much dearer in both the US and UK.
But it isn't being sold by a city dealer but a franchised multi state car wrecker. Now those chaps don't have the best reputations so my question is: is there a Dept. Of Fair Trading, or equivalent, where one can go [in Vic] to see companies' record in the Small Claims courts?
