If you would take some time to do more research, the Roam-e has revolutionary patented hinged wings, which have a start of art collapsible design. But it is important to remember that IOT is not just about the Roam-e, it is also selling smart watching at cheap prices, and OTT will be a game changer.
The roam e won't be able to move very fast, inherently because of its design, so the collision control should be find for navigating around immobile walls, cliff faces, etc. But my guess is if you stretch your arm out to grab it, or move your hand out, it's not really going to run away from you.
