Colonialism is a reality of history. Whether it is good or bad it happened as countries wanted to expand in the 1500’s to the 1800”s. If it wasn’t England, it was the Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, or French. People who were colonised by the British were treated better than colonisers from other expansion countries. Any land mass that was primitive was going to be colonised after discovery.
