Relatively pessimistic posting that one,and not very persuasive including this para:

After the Timbercorp wreck, SHV was flush with funds, said it examined the opportunities for purchase of acreage, but did not purchase that acreage; it may have been outbid - but SHV surely knows the value of almond acreage in the area.
Who owns Olam?
Interesting that it was those who do not hold the stock who first responded on the SHV thread.
