Yes, certainly would be nice for management to explain how fortunes can turn so quickly
The 18 cents is black and white from their half year report....that report would suggest that SHV was already tracking 20% down underlying, but thought extra orchards would pull it out above last year......apparently not
The reported EPS is actually higher (22cents based on a dodgy accounting 'profit')
There is no way of discerning their 'maturity profile' other than going through history and common sense.....
For example, SHV has for many years held 3 300 acres....everything else has been acquired in last few years.....the stuff in WA is currently just a CAPX hole for example
