One last observation on the Colt announcment, then I'll leave it alone.

From Terry O'Dwyer's address - "The company is presently in discussion with several interested parties. We have concluded negotiations with others who had initial interest, without success. These potential investors have recognised the potential of the company, but for various reasons the commercial marriage has not been consumated."

Seems to me he's talking here specifically about "investors who have a financial interest in the company" as opposed to a company like Colt who would have more of a "strategic interest in the MST technology and the financial outcome," as Lee said.

If that's the case, and given that none of the other negotiations were deemed worthy of an ASX release, then, to extend Terry O'Dwyer's analogy, the Colt collaboration has the ring of an engagement announcement about it.

Hopefully, after a suitable period of courtship, both parties will find they are compatible for a long-term relationship, and we can look forward to the nuptials being fully consumated!
