kelly made the point, that abbott , pre election, had no choice, but to go along with some of the labor policies... that seems to be the nature of the beast (politics) these days.
ever since the 1993 election, when hewson comprehensively detailed the policies that he was taking to the election, and for which he was seeking a mandate, political parties have become hesitant to be up front with their policies.
combet mentioned the workload - and he might have a point. being a fitness person probably helps abbott cope with the job
