overseas travel is always expensive especially given all our politicians always travel "up front". They all do it and this is probably within the normal range for ministers.
Air travel alone for Combet was around $55k which does seem a lot for 10 days in Europe.I actually find it hard to believe 2 return tickets to Europe plus European travel would cost that much.
What I found more interesting was that on a the day after Holden announces an exit from Australia The Murdock press dont have room on the front page to inform its readers. The top story in The Courier Mail and The Telegraph was a story months old and probably not unusual for politicians .Could this be just another friendly act by the Murdock for the Abbott Govt?
You hear an awful lot here about abc bias. This must be one of the most irrisponsible editorial decision in Australian journalism history.I think every other major paper in the cuntry had The Holden exit as the main story on the front page.
