Of course they can change their mind. If she had said that she had changed her mind, it would have changed everything. But that's exactly the point, she never did say that, and pretty much insulted everyone's intelligence.
By NOT saying she had changed her mind, it became clear that worse than a liar, she was deceitful, because she knew that had she admitted to the tax before the election, she would never have become PM. Its not the lie, its the fraud and being treated like an idiot that I object to.
Especially when I know I will be paying the flood tax, the carbon tax, and the mining tax without a shred of compensation. I'm public enemy number one, a tax-paying aussie who never took a cent in any kind of welfare, and have to fund my own retirement.
