Most ASX companys have the ability to issue 10% of their shares without shareholder approval.
Once they issue 10% of shares, they then need shareholder approval for the ability to issue another 10% of shares if needed in the upcomming year.
Most companys have this 10% ability in their back pocket, to use if needed.
Any issue more than 10% will need shareholder approval again.
