My understanding is that a court in Catamarca has suspended issuing new permits because of an issue with the Los Patos River drying up. Arcadium is the company that accesses fresh water from the Los Patos aquifer to which they built a 31 kilometer aqueduct. The companies in the vicinity are Arcadium and Galan both of whom have issued statements that this will not interfere with their operations. Kachi is over 100 kilometers away.
