Surely if he takes the time to read, he could also post on these sorts of things to dispell the rumours, but then that might be in breach of responsibilities and things.

I know of a company that does it on another investment site (if I'm allowed to do it here). But it does take more of their time up. Would prefer him to focus on this.

I will add though that rumours are sometimes what sets a SP alight, and negative rumours can have a similar effect. It is a comapnies choice if they want to dispell the rumours or focus on the company.
