    This is getting ridiculous.

On 1st Dec 2010 Nkwe announced the disappointing ConCourt decision to the surprise of SHs who were never told that there was a Court case happening. But reassurance was given that there was no impact on Nkwe's Gatatau project and there was confidence that an outcome would be reached to preserve Nkwe's interest in the 2 Tubatse farms.

Trading of shares saw a recovery from an earlier sell-off. The next day was less volatile and the market was doing what markets do and finding a market value for Nkwe shares based on the information made available to it and perception of events by market participants.

Then came a Trading Halt on 7th Dec to Update/Clarify the ConCourt decision and to state that there were material inaccuracies circulating in the media, after which the shares traded again and saw a slight improvement in SP.

Then another TH the next day (leading to the suspension) to clarify purported legal claims by Anglo and ARM as reported in the media.

Since that time there has been a couple of updates on the Company's position and that management was still confident that the outcome would be favourable to Nkwe.

Today's announcement states that the Board has decided, based on the continued perceived uncertainty regarding its assets in South Africa, to remain suspended for a further period.

Now I think this is BS (not Barry Sergeant).

They have had every opprtunity to address these so called "perceived uncertainties" and inaccurate and false claims but it seems to me that there are more unanswered questions every time they make an announcement. They should address all the issues and advise the market of the FACTS and let the market decide what to do with this information or misinformation, not hide behind a suspension.

This should not be allowed. They have not got a valid reason to stay in suspension for this long. The powers that be should have insisted that Nkwe address these issues forthwith and re list shares for trade giving the market an opportunity to take its course. Can you imagine if all companies were able to do this for reason of "perceived uncertainties and inaccurate and false claims"?

This was a joke that has become an even bigger joke.
