That's easy Skol.  The chart region you highlight is in a trading range downtrend with upper and low bands shown. I would argue (in my opinion) that where the price moves from today could be either up or down and begin or continue a new trend.

I tend to believe events drive price direction rather than trends driving trends.

We may disagree.


I think there is a much better chart which covers nearly a century and it is a neat one as you LIKE charts so much.
