I have read about Ghandi's life. Other than a lasting legacy renowned for a multitude of clever platitudes and witty little jousts at Western Civilisation, what actually did he achieve?
No offense, it's not a discriminatory swipe at any person in particular, but he was no Einstein. He didn't chance Mathematics, Physics or our understanding of the universe as we know it. He starved himself in the name of piece and failed to achieve what he set out to achieve.
P.S. - That said, I liked it when he was asked what he thought of Western Civilisation by a reporter and his reply was " I think it would be a great idea".
