Does CTP have over a trillion tons of coal?

During his recent Excellence in Oil and Gas Presentation address, CTP's Manager John Heugh, stated that CTP had some "30,000 square kilometres of coal seams up to 60 metres thick", on its tenements.

30,000 square kilometres is 30 billion square metres, if one multiplies that figure by a conserative thickness of say 20 metres, it equals 600 billion cubic metres, multiply that figure by 1.3 ( 1 cubic metre of coal weighs 1.3 ton ) it equals 780 billion tons of coal.

At 30 metres thickness across 30,000 square kilometres, it would equate to 1.17 trillion tons of coal.

Still very early days, only time will tell.
