You are right. Profit is profit. And everyone should take the profit he wants. Better to take, than to wait too long.

But i don`t understand, why you bought in 4 years ago. Fundamentals as chart should have show you, that it was not a smart time to buy. And i know, you won`t agree - but your timing is not good again. Who looks at chart and fundamentals and does his research in deep, will be able to see it. Your buy in time was driven by emotion - because at this time still some "experts" thought gold would rise to new highs and you saw the development in gold with his strong peak/high. And now you sell based on emotions, because you are glad to step out without loss. Selfmade trouble imo.
