I've just done some quick research. AMP has 1.86 BILLION shares on issue, equating to a market cap of $13.5 BILLION. You can't ramp a company that large, no matter how hard you try - it's too large, and institutional buyers will always negate the effect of a few small irrational retail investors. Anyone who thinks they are ramping it up or down are just big-noting themselves... the share price of companies this size will always be decided by market forces, not one or two enthusiastic forum posters.
