Flem, I have been busy with other stuff lately, particularly during the recent school holidays, and will be away for the next few days due to a funeral in Albany. I opened an SPX long at the start of the US earnings season, but was stopped out by a whisker as reported earlier. At present I am simply sitting out the US earnings season and the SPX grind to 2000. After at least one of these has passed I will reassess my ideas.
I still have an eye on a CBA short at around 12-Aug, which is one week before the ex-div date of 19-Aug, but I will need to assess the global market conditions closer to the time.
