Hi all fellow posters
I just had another look at the 3D movie showing the deposit, (brilliant advance in communications I think) and I notice that it seems to rise to the surface in the centre area .. which might be more copper than silver /lead /zinc, but metal ore nonetheless.
So my question of more knowledgeable posters is:---
Can this deposit be commenced relatively quickly and with low capex via an open cut approach?
Keep in mind that Cannington, as far as I know, has started their open pit and yet they will run out of economic ore in 8 years ... maybe they could use our ore as a blend to keep Cannington going for a longer time? Or maybe there is some other mothballed plant nearby that we could use? ...
A rich but deep orebody would take years and many millions of capex to get going, but if we could start with a pit??
And with this upcoming drilling of (say) 6 deep holes, what are we looking at timewise until the results are known? ... is it a week per hole then a month for analysis? .. that would take us to approx July /August.
Any thoughts?
