Is this actually good for COI?
Mahalo is part owned by Santos who are large and export overseas…. So unless we buy santos out this doesn’t help us.
if santos buy us then they are capped at $12 as they are large and export overseas. So that caps how much they can pay for us.
our options:
1) develop Mahalo North
2) buy out Santos in Mahalo and develop field
now from what I understand our management are explorers and not well developers
so this isn’t good news for us. Unless another party comes in and buys santos position and us in the process
