Farewell December 2015. In the words of the gold market old hands: "Another COMEX gold contract closer to retirement."
One small matter of interest is the very low remaining open interest that is going to delivery. At close of business on the 1st there was only 3,885 remain contracts. Typically there are still around 6-7,000 left at this time. I suppose it reflects a lack of interest.
