If as Lincoln said it is true that you can fool all the people some of the time, you can fool some of the people all the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time then how would it be possible for the Gov of the United States to fool everybody there (the bond holders, the workers, the mainstream economists, the housewives, etc) all of the time?

Would you lend money consistently at -5.8% p.a? Would you accept the idea that the housing boom never occurred? Would you accept the idea that the MIT is part of the conspiracy?
