It's all pretty sad. This issue didn't 'just' happen.
My opinion is that the US over-stepped the mark in the 1990's, 2000's, particularly 2014 Ukraine and now.
Nato should have been dissolved in the early 1990's as it is a cold war relic that was created for the USSR. Today, it's a spying and grand-standing tool for the USA. The rest of Europe, in fact globally is paying the price for it now, and Ukraine the largest one.
Russia has made it clear, and not just recently that they just wanted to be left alone.
How they reacted to intensification by the US/Nato, with Nukes pointed at them on their western borders is another matter, one that Ukraine is suffering for and taking Europe with it. They reacted(militarily) and is what I do not agree with though.
I do not agree with the purported "values" of the USA, as reported out by their media and their current administration. I am not American, I do not live there and to be quite honest, it is a shit hole. There, imho is something rotten in the bottom of the vegetable crate, so to speak. Most Americans know what that is and are about to vote on it.
Every country deserves to protect their sovereignty, this we are seeing with the expansion of BRICS. Many countries, have been vilified by the current US administration, interfered with, their cultures and core beliefs mocked and 'policed' by the US administration and it's 'rag tag' main stream media, labelled as Thugs, Dictatorships, Oligarchies, Hermits, etc. The mutual respect between BRICS and prospective BRICS countries may very well bring about the end of the US dollar / Petro-dollar which is a small likelihood of occurring, but not off the table and one they will do if pissed off enough (Yes it will hurt everybody). Who will fire the first bullet in that one, I think we know who will(could be already in progress?) and it's not the Russians or the Chinese.
Imho, it is solely up to the people of those countries to decide on their own future in terms of sovereignty and what they want out of it. They always have the choice to decide. The people have the true power, even in oppressed situations. They need to break out of it on their own, if they want to.
I am not 'pro putin' as the communist lefties and wokists would point out, while they're frothing at the mouth, wanting nuclear WWIII.
If this project goes ahead, I would like to live long enough to enjoy the fruits of my investment without being bothered by pro WWIII nuclear BLM, WEF, Wokes, LGBTQITWATS, Baby killers, sniffers, pedo's or watermelons, all of which I don't want in my life or rammed down my throat.
