Talk of prosecuting Comey was nothing more than a smoke and mirrors event to distract attention from other issues.
Why? Because the document Comey disclosed was not classified when he disclosed it. It was classified at the "confidential " level afterwards. This huge gaff would have been recognised by the responsible case manager within 2 minutes. This play has wasted everyone's time.
Comey's testimony would have opened avenues of legal discovery against Trump. Barr and Trump truely wouldn't want to see Comey on the stand.
