The Russians have always tried to influence US elections the only difference now is that Hillary lost and they are looking for someone to blame. Also social media has changed everything and it's just far easier now for any country or person to do the same. Just like fake or biased news that is fed out constantly all the time these days by those with alterior motives or beliefs.
The fact is the Obama administration has meddled in other countries elections and business many times yet now suddenly people are up in arms about Russians attacking American democracy but what really angered many is that Hillary lost and they simply cannot hack it.
