what about the possibility of STO wanting to buy into Poseidon ?
think about it. Proteus / Crown connection, existing JV with COP in Darwin.
data on Proteus would almost serve as an appraisal well in Crown ( they can confirm sand packages - quite an aggresive step out.
for $100m for 5% is what an appraisal well would cost, as a JV partner they get full access to data.
the whole thing is a chess game and who knows where it will end up, but still many more moves to play.
