Works both ways, people become religious about attacking a stock too. Hitting the buy button can be a big challenge, look at the opportunity missed, a few cents all the way to over $1.
You can argue the point of missed opportunities on every stock. I'd assume people here are investors with a longer term mindset and took the most recent drop as a buying opportunity, just as several insiders did.
