I have been thinking the same thing.
I have also been thinking that the age distribution at the moment is skewed towards younger cases and the state distribution balanced.
At the beginning they were all in NY and NJ. Hospitals became overwhelmed and death rates surged.
keeping the curve ‘flatter‘ in each geography whilst having record aggregate cases has helped avoid deaths.
now that cases are building up in areas (everywhere) we may unfortunately see a rise in death rates as hospitals can now longer manage. During the NY period, other states were sending medicos to NY. If everywhere in inundated, where will the back up come from?
very disturbing time ahead imo. Hope I’m wrong.
