Hardly anybody understands the fundamental complexity & vagaries of valuing gold miners so the average punter relies on gold price & TA of share price
Once gold price moves it triggers TA signals regardless of fundamentals & perceptions change which will make it look relatively undervalued until momentum runs out & by then it should’ve outperformed
Of coarse that may not happen but I’ve observed & traded this pattern many times
