It would appear that Guilford have weathered the storm of exceptionally low prices. Many smaller coal producers did not make it through. It is encouraging that the IO price is on the rise (even though shamefully manipulated) i think that history shows that once IO starts to increase, coal does indeed follow.
Guilford started mining just as the price was plummeting, and they should be commended for riding this through.
The Mongolia project is also very encouraging, being a supply of coking coal rather than thermal coal.
It would be hard to imagine that the SP will bounce back to the highs, but should rise at a greater rate that the larger coal miners, as the low cost base of current SP indicates it has been heavily oversold.
I would say this is an excellent time to take advantage of a potential 2-5 bagger in the short to medium term.
all IMO of course, but i have been around coal for a long long time.
