What goes around comes around, not so MrGordon? JWs, in my view persecute people through their exclusive doctrine by shunning both non-members (except to preach to them) and ex-members, and also the weak such as children by shielding members from investigation for things like child abuse. I don't agree with the Russian approach even if it is giving JWs a bit of their own medicine.

Maybe it's as simple as the Russians don't like JW's exclusive doctrine, families being split by religious dogma, and protecting their own to an extent that things like child abuse goes undetected - I doubt that it is a dislike of religion, generally.
