The " dramatically missed timelines" I guess is referring to DFS botch-up and probably getting a bit old hat considering a Total global financial meltdown was happening.
Of course I would expect that you would understand exponential math. (really) But unfortunately not enough people do.
Did you watch the clip? A bit lecture roomish, but I think the lecturer did well and the subject at least intriguing.
