Get yourself a CFD account. Instead of selling your CBA shares after Ex dividend, just short sell the same amount of CFDs. A nice hedge against your losse. Last May I sold my NAB shares just days before it went EX. Dividend, as it was just sitting on 32 in the build up. Sure enough that was the last time NAB was over 32.
