    you are right when you say that all the insurance stocks have made great recoveries from their lows. Royal and Sun is a great example as it was partially due to its having scored as one of the worst performing stocks on the London Exchange that it was forced to divest what we know as Promina in order to raise cash.

    Doesn't that then only go to reinforce just how bad and murky are things at AMP when despite all the announcements and plans and raisings - AMP is still going down?

    It trades strongly technically - I see no reason for it to not complete a technical bottom now albeit with the occassional bounce to suck mug punters in - just like ALL did - as you so correctly pointed out sometime earlier.

    Only then would I expect any sort of sustainable recovery.

    Looking at RSA in the UK one could be forgiven for thinking it looks rather toppy - much like many of its collegue index stocks. Falls ahead now?
