I wonder if this might spark some life into ALT?

Funny how news often follows a less than genuine sell-down...as we saw in ALT yesterday when a single seller pushed the stock to recent lows.

Our long wait may finally be about to pay dividends, as taking a serious position now would be very difficult without pushing the price considerably higher.

COMMENCEMENT OF SALES OF TUTA BURETTES WITH
MEDIFLUSH™ FEATURE

Analytica Limited (ASX:ALT) and Medical Australia Limited (ASX:MLA) are pleased to announce that sales of Tuta-branded burettes equipped with Analytica's patented flush
system have commenced in the Australian market. The system is being marketed by Medical Australia under the trademark MediFlush.

The MediFlush system is used during intravenous administration of medication. The flushing system allows a burette's needleless injection port and the medication
delivery syringe to be flushed with saline directly from the IV fluid bag, without the need for additional flushing syringes or ampoules.

With the MediFlush feature in Tuta's burettes all of the drug is delivered to the patient. This means that medicine does not stagnate in deadspace of the needleless port where it can mix, possibly adversely, with later medicines. It also means that the expensive drugs are used more efficiently.

The use of flushing ampoules or syringes requires several connection steps, which means additional infection risks. The MediFlush system improves hospital infection control by eliminating these steps with the Tuta burettes.

And by the removal of these steps and products, the MediFlush feature saves nurse time, and as much as $2.50 per medication event from the elimination of the flushing
ampoules.

Feedback from nurses and hospital administrators for this feature is strong with the most typical response being "Why hasn't this been done before?"

Analytica has granted a license to Medical Australia to include the flushing technology in their products and receives a license fee on a quarterly basis. Medical Australia is responsible for manufacturing, sales, marketing, and regulatory affairs of its products using Analytica technology.
