I suppose we have all been guilty at times of buying Specs at their high point. Having the courage to sell out quickly if they start going the wrong way is many peoples weakness.
A trading plan is required- stop losses can be also used but need careful consideration.
With regards to NST you have at least a dividend payment and what appears to be a sound company with great assets. The share price in the near term is going to be mostly reacting to the Gold price, however, NST has held up rather well compared with others with their continuing good news. How long it takes for Gold to recover is a guess at best, I am expecting a recovery to around 1400 US in the last qtr.
I will buy more NST on SP weakness.
